POV Studies

The experience of being in a wheelchair can be a jarring combination of feeling both invisible and in the way. You are overlooked or stared at, rarely exchanging comfortable eye-contact. Bags, elbows and bellies all at eye-level. Below is a series of studies for future large-scale oil paintings exploring this specific point of view, highlighting my subjectivity as a witness.
